AC/DC have been in a studio in Vancouver recording a brand new album. It's been eight years since their last album.... And thirty three years since they put out their debut, High Voltage. Rumours say the album may be titled Black Ice or Runaway Train but nothing's been confirmed. It has been confirmed that the band has an exclusive deal with Wal-Mart in the US so the album will only be sold there when it's released later this year. There are also rumours that AC/DC the musical is in the pipeline! Sounds interesting doesn’t it! As soon as we have new music we will show you so stay tuned and check out a classic below. Britney Spears will spend the summer working on her new album. The 'Toxic' singer has been "having fun" in the recording studio and is delighted with the songs she has created so far. Britney's manager Larry Rudolph said: "She is spending her summer in the recording studio, working on a brand new album. She's working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters, and we're very excited about what she's accomplished so far". No album release date has been confirmed yet. Hope it works for her, as a person that watches the impact of music on the public I can’t wait to see how people respond. Have a look at her only Ok song Toxic from a few years ago. MESHING funk, electro, hip hop, soul and anything else that lands in the mixing bowl, house veterans Stereo MCs certainly deliver with Double Bubble. Proving they’re as innovative as ever, Double Bubble is the sixth Album from UK based Rob Birch and Nick Hallam, and is set to add to their long list of awards, nominations and multi-selling albums. The first track of the album is called Gringo and it’s a Club goers dream. I have been a fan of these guys for many years now but this new record, I don’t think is their best work. B-52s singer Kate Pierson is at the centre of a nude photo scandal after an alleged picture of her appeared online. A woman bearing a strong resemblance the 60-year-old singer is shown smiling as she poses fully naked on a bed, which has appeared on a number of Websites. According to a source, the Love Shack singer's photo was taken by a former lover who fell out with the star and then leaked the photos online in an act of revenge. The band formed in 1976 and championed their new wave rock sound to public adulation. The B-52s are currently touring to promote the release of their first original album in 16 years-titled Funplex. SNOOP DOGG TO REINVENT JOHNNY CASH

Snoop Dogg is one of the artists working on transforming the first Johnny Cash album into at 21st century rap record. Snoop is remixing Cash’s ‘I Walk The Line’ from The Sun Sessions amongst other tracks. The album will be called Johnny Cash Remixed and is being driven by Cash’s son, John Carter Cash. “My father made his stead by defying the expected and accepted way of things” John Carter Cash said in a statement. “He set the standard at the same time. He would have loved this remix record. While it stays true to the original recordings, this CD touches on undiscovered ground. This is what my father was about: staying true to tradition while creating groundbreaking new music.” That's for sure it will be groundbreaking probably not in a good way . Britney Spears has filmed her bit for Madonna’s upcoming ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour this week in LA. In the video, Britney will be stuck in an elevator, look into the camera and says “its Britney bitch”. The scene is a send-up of their duet of some years back. While Britney is stuck in the elevator, the elevator music is that old Madonna song ‘Human Nature’. It was her 1994 hit, not the Michael Jackson song and not a medley of the Aussie boy band (thank God). The Britney piece will be one of those audience distraction pieces while Madonna goes off and does one of many costume changes during the show. It is the first since she took up residence in the Elysee Palace and her civic duties. The title of the 14-track album Comme si de rien n'etait (As If Nothing Had Happened) may reveal more than just it's title and French press have been speculating on its meaning. The 40-year-old has become a popular first lady but the coming weeks will show just exactly how much the French population has taken to her. THE BEATLES DRUM SELLS FOR £500,000

A drum featured on the cover of The Beatles 'Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ album has sold for over £500,000 at auction. The hand-painted bass drum was among a collection of 60s memorabilia, which in total fetched over £1 million at auction yesterday. The percussion instrument sold for £541,250, four times its original estimate. Other items under the hammer at London’s Christie’s auction house included John Lennon’s hand-written lyrics for his song 'Give Peace a Chance’, which sold for £421,250. A pair of Jimi Hendrix’s flares fetched £20,000 and one of his Marshall amps dating back to 1966 fetched £25,000. Have a look at some classic Beatles below to take you back to the ‘good old days’. I am not talking about myself because I am not that talented enough to make music. Cansei de Ser Sexy better known as CSS, is a Brazilian band from Sao Paulo. Their songs have an electro/rock sound, and are sung in both English and Portuguese; their lyrics mostly concern pop culture.

Their latest album is called Donkey and will be released this month. My favourite track of theirs and their most successful track is called My Music Is Hot , it was released last year off their first album titled Cansei de Ser Sexy. They Look Like They Have Problems Don't They!

Bluejuice is an Australian Indie Rock band from Sydney who over the last year has gained a bit of notice in the alliterative scene. Their album ‘Problems’ was released a little while back and was flogged on the likes of Triple J radio, which got the band some cred and a fan base. The first single was called Vitriol, a great up beat and catchy track. Daniel Johns from Silverchair was named songwriter of the year at the APRA Awards last week. He's the only artist to take out the prize three times. The single Straight Lines which Daniel co-wrote with Julian Hamilton of The Presets was the Most Played Australian Work of the year. It also won Song Of The Year. And that was a surprise to Daniel! "I thought people would hate it hey? After Diarama I thought people would say we sold out. Young Modern's a pop record. If it was up to me I'd sound like Destiny's Child." At least Daniel is honest. The group formed in 2007 (While soul searching in Denmark) with the idea of making danceable, retro-European disco that would include their love for Roxy Music, T-Rex and Blondie. COLDPLAY GOES ALL MARRY POPPINS

Coldplay have based their latest tour on ‘Mary Poppins’. The British rockers who played an exclusive show at London’s Brixton Academy last night have been inspired by the hit Disney film about a magical nanny. Frontman Chris Martin said: “We grew up with ‘Mary Poppins’ and all those sorts of things. We love making big shows up and trying to work out what lights will look cool. We get very nerdy about it because we can’t believe we’re allowed to do it.” However, Chris admits the band’s shows don’t quite rival those of rivals Muse, whose incredible pyrotechnics and stage sets have won them several best live act awards. Meanwhile, the band have been accused of stealing the melody for the title track of their new album ‘Viva La Vida Or Death and All His Friends’ from US indie band Creaky Boards.
Coldplay's Latest CD
Frontman Andrew Hoepfner claims he wrote a “strikingly similar song” over a year ago and says Chris came to watch his band perform in October 2007. How stupid can I be! For some reason a year has gone by without me ever hearing one of my new favourite bands tracks! Thank god I found them now!MGMT is an American musical group based in Brooklyn, New York consisting of Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden. Their style is a mix of Indie Rock/Pop with a bit of Electronica and Punk mixed in there, which gives you a very cool sound. Their first album was released last year, titled Oracular Spectacular and it features the awesome tracks Time To Pretend, Kids and Electric Feel.
