The Music Festival Season
This past weekend saw the start of the British / European Music Festival season with Radio 1’s Big Weekend taking place with some controversy. The Headline act for this year’s festival was Madonna and of course with Madonna comes controversy. The organisers thought it was a bit over the top that she requested a helicopter to transport her around but the stories started when she bought an entourage of 70 strong. Supposedly the entourage trashed stuff backstage and ate all the food for the other bands. Who cares about her entourage, The thing I was a bit surprised by was that she only performed like 5 or 6 songs. Anyway enough about Madonna there were lots of other bands that were playing over the weekend including The Kooks, Robyn and FatBoySlim plus many more that were all supposedly awesome.
