Once again the title of the post and the picture has caught your attention, if you were wondering no I am not talking about refuges or people who live on boats. But wait, do keep reading because what you read below will introduce you to something beautiful that you might have never heard before. Little known Brisbane band The Boat People are a true gem, the band has been together since the begging of the century and in that time have released many EP’s and 2 albums the latest of which is called Chandeliers.

They really asserted themselves in the Australian alternative scene with their 2005 release Yesyesyesyesyes, which featured great songs like Clean, Unsettle My Heart and Tell Someone Who Cares. Their first single of the new album, Chandeliers is called Awkward Orchard Orchid and it is a great track.
