Sneaky Sound System
Sneaky Sound System, is one of our favourite Aussie acts if you haven’t already figured this out and we are so happy for them because after a long wait and some record deal problems they are finally releasing their music to the rest of the world. They are starting in the UK releasing Pictures as the first single, they are planing to release their new album ‘2’ as the first album in UK with a few extra tracks from their debut album mixed in. As I have said I am happy for the guys, but and yes their is a but, for the release of Pictures in Britain they have had someone else not from the band do a slight tweak to the track. For the life of me I don’t know why because the original version is great and the new version is crap. Whoever got their hands on it has made it sound more ‘dancy’ and it has lost its real pop/ mainstream edge. So I wouldn’t be surprised if the track doesn’t do quite as well as everyone is expecting because I don’t think it will reach the pop audience as much. Sneaky’s new album 2 will be available August 16 and their latest song in Australia, Kansas City now has a video to go with it so check that out below as well as the Original version and the UK version of Pictures.
