Carla Bruni and French President Nicolas Sarkozy
Carla Bruni - the Italian songwriter, singer and model, and wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy has released her latest album. It is the first since she took up residence in the Elysee Palace and her civic duties. The title of the 14-track album Comme si de rien n'etait (As If Nothing Had Happened) may reveal more than just it's title and French press have been speculating on its meaning. The 40-year-old has become a popular first lady but the coming weeks will show just exactly how much the French population has taken to her.
