MAYBE BEING ON IDOL DOESN’T RUIN YOUR CHANCE OF A MUSIC CAREER!

I have always thought that the ‘Idol’ television series has been a bore, more importantly as we all know the music that the contestants produce is always crap. I think the reason that the music is always bad is the record company pushing the winner into a box that they probably don’t fit into. Now 7 seasons on I think I have been proved wrong. Lisa Mitchell is a 17 year-old singer songwriter from country New South Wales who was apart of the show 2 or 3 seasons ago. She has defied the trend and had has made the music that she enjoys and it shows. Lisa has released two EP’s now the latest of which features one of my new favourite tracks called Neopolitan Dreams. The track has caught the alternative market that she was looking for and I would be surprised if her album she is currently working on finds its niche and does well.
