MARIAH BETTER THAN ELVIS?

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey has notched up her 18th US number one single, overtaking Elvis Presley's chart success. The DIVA achieved this feat with her new single Touch My Body, which was released last week of her upcoming album E=MC2. The next goal on her list is to break The Beatles Record of 20 US No.1 Hits. In a radio interview in the UK last week the singer was showing her Diva-ish attitude when she was insulted that the radio host got the amount of record she has sold wrong. He stated that she only sold 80 Million albums when the actual figure is closer to 180 million, she was insulted so she hung up. I have never been much of a fan but obviously everyone else is, her latest video Touch My Body.

Check this out...

In this day and age of instant downloads and multi-media saturation, I don't think it means much to say an artist takes over a place once held by greats like Elvis or the Beatles. I see both of them playing on the same field, Mariah Carey is from and entirely different generation, Spellcheck even says her name is spelled wrong!

For the record--I'm not much of a fan either!!!!

Elvis was one of the people responsible for rock and roll and bringing black music to white people. Mariah whats her name is responsible for inspiring millions of singers to warble like birds, show as much of their tits as possible and how to be conceited.
