Really I can sum it up in two words, Loving Ladyhawke. If you don't know who ladyhawke is then pay attention! Ladyhawke is the alter ego of solo musician Phillipa "Pip" Brown, formerly of the Wellington band Two Lane Blacktop and the Sydney duo Teenager with Nick Littlemore of PNAU. Noted as being influenced by 1980s music, Ladyhawke is best known for the 2008 single "Paris Is Burning", which she wrote after a visit to Paris. Her debut album was released just a couple of weeks ago and it is awesome. The latest single of her album is called 'Dusk Til Dawn' i will admit it's not for everyone but she certainly has found a solid fan base. OMG! Now i can get the music so easily. I hadn't realised the limitations of dial up until it was gone.
I actually listened to both of the songs. Ladyhawke certainly is a bit different. She has an unexpectedness in her music that keeps you listening. It will be interesting to see where she goes next.
