Well she is being compared as the American version of Lily Allen, but Katy Perry has proved that she has made her own mark by reaching the top of the US Charts. Her latest single, I Kissed A Girl has gone to No.1 and has held it’s position for a second week, her album One Of The Boys also debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200. Her track has hit No. 2 in Aus and will probably go two No.1 next week with the rest of the world to follow suit very soon. I love it, I think it you will be a star! Of course most people are tools. But as far as the Record Companies are concerned it sells records and makes them money, So why not! We all know it's just crap music. I think the reason that these artists have success it that most people are bored with the pop music that is being made and because record companies are scared to push anything different, they go with it.
