Kate Miller-Heidke
I was ‘surfing’ the net this week and came across one of my favourite Brisbane singers Kate Miller-Heidke. I became a fan of hers years ago when she first had her track played on triple J, it was great to see a fresh face with interesting lyrics and a fantastic voice. Classically trained as an Opera singer, she has followed a career in popular music and currently records for Sony BMG Australia. Her debut album was released last year, titled Little eve it was a moderate success and it spawned a couple hit singles.
