Lady Sovereign

I both Blame and Thank Lady Sovereign for introducing the word Random into modern language. Lady Sovereign is an English rapper who is unique as the only female artist in the primarily Male British Grime Scene. I have been a massive fan of her work for many years now and after talking about 'Grime' earlier this week I couldn’t go on without showing you some of her best work.

Her first EP was released in 2005 and her first single was called Random a wicked song. When I first heard this song before I knew who she was I thought she sounded like a 12year-old boy despite that it was one of my favourite songs of 2005. Check out her song Random as well as Love me or Hate me and Those were the days.
