The nominations were announced for the MOJO Honours List 2008 and Alex Turner has secured four nominations for both Arctic Monkeys and The Last Shadow Puppets. The MOJO Honours List is a prestigious awards ceremony given out every year in the United Kingdom, recognising achievements in music. In an amazing achievement, Turner sees himself and his Arctic Monkeys bandmates nominated for Best Album and Best Live Act while his side project with The Rascals' Miles Kane, The Last Shadow Puppets, is up for Best Breakthrough Act and Song Of The Year for 'The Age Of Understatement'.
