LA ROUX

I wish I was La Roux!

Oh My God! I cannot believe that time has passed and I have not introduced my new favourite artist! Their name is ‘La Roux’ and they are a British Electro pop synth duo made up of singer and synth player Elly Jackson, and co-writer and co-producer Ben Langmaid. Simply they are Awesome! Their music is heavily influenced by 80’s acts like Eurhythmics, Depeche Mode and Prince. La Roux’s debut, self-titled album is due at the end of the month with their new single ‘Bulletproof’. The album also includes their recent hits ‘In For The Kill’ and ‘Quicksand’. Check out all three tracks below with their super cool video’s! YOU MUST! MM

Wale, just chillin.

Wale (Pronounced Wah-lay) is a American rapper/Hip Hop artist who has been around the underground/Alternative scene in the States for a few years now. Now Wale is signed to a major label, his first album ‘Attention: Deficit’ is due in a few months and he has dropped his first single called Chillin. The track features Lady Gaga and sounds very much like a left over track from a M.I.A. album. Check out the video below! MM

Kids of 88

Is it just me or is New Zealand producing more and more great music? The latest talent from the land of sheep is, Kids Of 88! They are a duo from Auckland who produce Big Beat House Disco/ New Wave. Their debut single is called ‘My House’, a dance track with big potential all over the world having already gone Top 5 in their homeland. Expect to hear ‘My House’ on your radio in the coming weeks or check out the track and stupid video below. MM

Quite A Look!

Usually when Fast Food chains or Fast Food in general, are used in lyrics you have a disaster. Example(Must Watch). Really Long Link But every once and a while talking about crappy food can work! Example, ‘Das Racist’s’ and their track ‘Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell’. I know it sounds bad but the Wallpaper remix of this song is awesome! Lady Gaga on the new cover of Rolling Stone.

Some like her, Some don't, but Lady Gaga makes one hell of a video! "The Ga" has just released her music video for her 5th single here in Aus, Paparazzi. The video is 8min long and must have cost a fortune to make. It is more of a Mini Film rather then a Video clip. It is EPIC and Amazing. YOU MUST WATCH IN FULL SCREEN!!!!

She is one talented lady.

"Miss Keri Baby" otherwise known as Keri Hilson dropped her debut album last month, In A Perfect World and the new single of the album is called Knock You Down. The very talented artist is joined by Kanye West and Ne-Yo on this track and the public is already responding with the track debut at No.1 in New Zealand, Top 10 in the UK and Top 15 in the US. MY NEW GUIILTY PLEASURE

They may be a girl group, but they have got some Game.

Ok so you all know I have very bad taste in music. Well my bad music repertoire just expanded. British girl group, The Saturdays have been around since the middle of last year but not until now has their catchy pop music caught me.
